Walk the Ridge All October

Every Saturday in October (the 16th, 23rd, and 30th) you can join a guided tour of part of the Carp Ridge with Martha Webber, our resident plant expert and all-around outdoor enthusiast.  Nobody is more familiar with the area and its plants and animals than Martha and a nature walk with her is a special treat indeed.  Its very children friendly as well.

Expect a low-effort walk, not a hike, to keep up with Martha in her sandals. Walks are entirely on city-owned land so don't worry about venturing onto private property.

Walks will begin at the Dunrobin end of the Thomas Dolan Parkway (just off the Dunrobin Road) at 1:30pm - look for Martha's red Suzuki.
